As an independent artist, Seryne has made significant strides, her single Falling In Love received notable recognition from industry leaders, including Love & Hip Hop’s SwiftOnDemand and IamStylezMusic, ranked the No. 1 Reggae artist on the Billboard charts. Seryne’s single Falling in Love was the single which launched the beginning of her professional experience as a record label owner under the guidance of D-Teck, A&R Director for Konvict Muzik Group, a label founded by global star Akon as well as the mentorship of Lamont Dickerson Sony/ ATV-EMI/Future Sound Music International Music Producer.

In addition to her music, Seryne has built an extensive resume in the entertainment industry. She has worked with Univision Radio, where she opened the X96.3 Celebrity Basketball Game, featuring Latin superstars like J Balvin, Aventura, and Toby Love. Seryne’s voice has been heard on national radio commercials for brands like Lubriderm and Viva Toro nightclub, and her single Amor Venenoso was featured in *Radio WADO*'s promotion for the Bronx Dominican Day Parade. For which Seryne was awarded as top performing artist at the Bronx Dominican Parade Festival.

Her entrepreneurial journey includes significant roles such as serving as Vice President of Wazzup Media Group in 2016 and interning at Diamond District Recording Studios in New York City, a studio frequented by top artists such as Fat Joe, Remy Ma, Designer and Fred The Godson to name a few. These experiences provided Seryne with the tools and insight necessary to successfully manage her own label and film company while continuing to produce music and film that resonates with a global audience.

Acting Career and Film Contributions

Seryne’s talent is not confined to music alone. A proud Afro-Latinx artist, Seryne’s passion for storytelling began at an early age, and after attending BMCC, she pursued both film and music with equal fervor while interning at NBPC: The National Black Programing Consortium, a nonprofit media organization devoted to the preservation, production, distribution, and promotion of diverse films about African Americans and African diaspora experiences. Her dedication to her craft quickly paid off, as she landed this internship as a film editor which garnered her a credited editing role on the Amazon Film OMO CHILD amongst others. Later down the line her continued dedication landed her notable roles in both film and television.

Seryne’s film credits include leading roles in Missing Paige, See, and Nobody's Famous. Missing Paige earned multiple awards at the New York City International Film Festival, including Best Feature Thriller, Best Feature Drama, and Best Feature Film. Her ability to seamlessly transition between genres and characters has made her a standout talent in the entertainment world.

Seryne’s television work includes a memorable appearance in Netflix’s critically acclaimed series Orange is the New Black, where she portrayed a member of the Dominican gang. Additionally, her commercial presence was highlighted in a national Toyota GR-86 campaign, where her charisma and on-screen magnetism left a lasting impression on viewers.
